As promised. Triumph did reveal a new bike at the Tridays festival in Austria. This new Trophy 1200 Touring bike challenges the supremacy of BMW in this sector.
Powered by a 251cc three-cylinder motor which produces 132 hp at 8,900 rpm and 120 Nm torque. In this bike the sixth gear has been made longer, to aid it’s high speed cruising capacity.
Two versions of the bike will be available, a standard one and an SE one. The SE version will be packed with many high spec features like electronically-adjustable
suspension, ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, electronic cruise control, ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, along with numerous other features.
Pricing is not yet out, but it is assumed to be cut-throat with the BMW guys, so expect some competition and lot of options.
