Maria Motorcycles’ Triumph Thruxton Mighty Blue is an eye candy

For those one-off unique custom motorcycle seekers, Maria motorcycles in Lisbon, Portugal might be a good place to pay a visit. One of their first designs The Triumph Thruxton Mighty Blue is an eye candy. From their first work, their work ethic is visible. Do not tamer the soul of the motorcycle, and keep it really simple.
This bike was bought by one of the members of Maria who wanted it to be Maria Style  with a more open cockpit.

As promised. Triumph did reveal a new bike at the Tridays festival in Austria. This new Trophy 1200 Touring bike challenges the supremacy of BMW in this sector.
Powered by a 251cc three-cylinder motor which produces 132 hp at 8,900 rpm and 120 Nm torque. In this bike the sixth gear has been made longer, to aid it’s high speed cruising capacity.

Goodwood Festival: Nissan Leaf to set Guinness World Reverse Speed Record

Goodwood Festival of Speed is in for some treat as Nissan has some special plans for the festival. Nissan’s Leaf is a really special car, as it is an EV and since it has no gearbox it’s backwards is almost same as it is forwards. But just to set the records straight, Nissan will be organizing a record-breaking run for the Leaf in which it will try to break the record for driving backwards.

Ducati Diavel DVC by Motocorse is a special bike [Photo Gallery]

Motocorse is an Italian company that generally specializes in the production of special parts of sportsbikes. Well, now they have put together an amazingly cool looking bike, Ducati Diavel DVC. Based on the 2011 Ducati Diavel, the original design of the bike has been retained with some technical and stylish upgrades.

Pagani to unveil Zonda R Evo at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Zonda R – The Evo is much more than just fast, it is excitingly fast and for that reason we would recommend not getting it onto the streets. Take it somewhere that can handle pace. A bespoke built V12 by AMG giving out 750 hp is the prime culprit for such menacing speeds.

This is one car that will grab attention, even if it’s not present in its original form. Do we have a red carpet for engines, where once in a year they arrive in awesome cars and then walk down the aisle and at last the best of them is given an award for being the best? Obviously having something exactly like this is most certainly impossible, but yet we can have an Engine of the year award.
